The Dartmouth College Social Justice Awards are given to recognize contributions towards peacebuilding, civil rights, education, public health, community-building, environmental or social justice. In particular, they are given to people or groups who “have demonstrated their compassion, perseverance, courage, and leadership by engaging in the difficult work of fostering human dignity and our common humanity through their projects, programs, and visions.”
In 2025, the Social Justice Lifetime Achievement award was given to our co-founder, Lisa Robinson-Spader, on behalf of the work Global Pearls has accomplished and continues to pursue. The Global Pearls team, from our partners abroad who are heroes indeed, to our U.S. team, to the donors who make it all possible have jointly earned this award.
