In Ladakh, India, we fund a winter program for students to keep them engaged during the long, cold months, and traditional school starts in March. Or at least it’s supposed to… This year, so much snow fell that government teachers couldn’t make it over the 16,000’ pass to reach our school in Dipling. Our winter teachers came to the rescue by continuing winter program classes until the government teachers could arrive. No school snow days for our children, but that hasn’t stopped them from having lots of fun!
