HENRY HUANG
KENYA PROJECT LEAD
Henry holds a M.A. from the University of Chicago in Social Policy and Social Research and has worked in faith-based nonprofits most of his career – 19 years in inner city community development and 20 years in Bible translation, minority language community development related work. His experiences range from project manager to partnership development to Area Director to SVP for New Initiatives and has worked in every continent except Antarctica. While overseeing a team of 70 people managing 1,000 projects, he retained personal responsibilities for over a dozen projects to maintain on-the-ground sensibility. As a follower of Jesus Henry believes every person is meant to live a life of shalom in community – which is more than just “peace” but rather life that is thriving. The work Global Pearls does with partners is contributing to the shalom of individuals and communities.
